Provide a bat-friendly refuge to attract them to your garden. Just hang the bat house and let nature take care of the rest!
A single bat can eat up to 3,000 insects each night.
How to Install the Bat House. Location: Mount the bat house in a quiet spot, away from bright lights and noise. Choose a sunny or partially shaded area (at least 6 hours of sun per day), facing south, southeast, or southwest. Ensure a clear flight path and fix it to a tree trunk or wall. Ideally, place the bat house near food sources such as ponds, streams, or forest edges where insects are abundant. Height: Place the house 3–5 meters high to protect bats from predators. Installing several houses increases the chance of occupation. When to install: Late winter/early spring or in autumn. Leave the house up all year round.
